School Field Day & Carnival Big Head Cutouts from Best BIG Heads™ give families, volunteers, and class groups a shared portrait for gathering and photos. Plan a quiet moment between activities to recognize a volunteer or class representative and bring everyone into the picture.

Choose packs for the groups taking part

The 10-Pack 12x18 Big Head gives a larger volunteer or class group matching portraits to hold. Choose the 5-Pack 12x18 Big Head for a smaller group. Plan one shared face per pack. To feature different class representatives or volunteers, arrange separate portraits and confirm the ordering details before purchasing. Count the people holding each portrait during your planned photo moment.

Coordinate with the event organizers

Ask the field-day or carnival organizer where a short gathering will fit. A familiar volunteer's portrait can bring a personal touch to a welcome beside an activity station or fair table while that area is quiet. Agree on the person to feature and a suitable meeting point. Keep entrances, queues, and the routes between stations clear for participants.

Plan photos between activities

Choose a photo area away from active games and movement areas. Gather a class group after its activity rotation, or invite volunteers and families for a community picture during a carnival break. Hold cutouts beside real faces so everyone can be seen. Set them aside before running, playing, or moving to the next activity, and follow the organizer's directions.

Select an agreed school-community portrait

Use a high-quality original photo showing the entire head and hair. Choose an image the featured person is comfortable sharing, and follow the school's photo-permission process. An adult volunteer or teacher portrait can give several groups a familiar face. For any student's image, confirm the appropriate parent or guardian permission before ordering. Send the original uncropped and identify the intended person if others appear.

Upload the portrait and review your plan

Wait for the photo upload to finish before adding the product to your cart. Check the selected pack and the notes identifying your subject. If several classes or volunteer groups need separate portraits, read our bulk order information and ask how to arrange the order. Confirm the gathering location with the organizer before bringing cutouts to the event.

School field day and carnival questions

Can we carry cutouts during active games?

Keep them out of active games and movement areas.
